Money X carries out the charity programme “Bringing Love to the Highlands”.
On November 20 and 21, Money X, in collaboration with its sponsors, carried out a support programme for disadvantaged children in Sa De Phin and Ta Ngao communes, Sin Ho District, Lai Chau Province. Held ahead of the 2023 Lunar New Year, the programme aimed to improve living and learning conditions and provide practical support for children attending preschools in the mountainous Northwest region.
The group left Hanoi one day earlier and stayed overnight in Sin Ho District to prepare for the journey to the highland communes. At 5:00 a.m. the following morning, despite the biting cold, the group travelled along winding mountain roads, steep slopes, and narrow hairpin bends. After navigating difficult-to-access routes and walking several kilometres, the team reached preschool sites in Sa De Phin and Ta Ngao communes.
There, Money X and its sponsors gave the children clothes, scarves, hats, sweets, and school supplies. The gifts were prepared according to the practical needs of children in the highlands, helping them cope with the winter weather and continue their education in better conditions.
According to local teachers, most residents in the two communes belong to ethnic minority communities and rely primarily on agriculture for their livelihoods. The proportion of poor households remains high, while school facilities, housing conditions, and learning equipment are still limited. These challenges directly affect families’ living conditions and children’s access to education.
In addition to distributing gifts, Money X team members worked with parents to repair several facilities at the preschools. The work focused on improving essential infrastructure and helping create a safer and more convenient learning environment for children, teachers, and parents.
The programme demonstrated how cooperation among businesses, sponsors, schools, and local communities can deliver practical, needs-based support with lasting value. For Money X, it was also an opportunity to strengthen the team’s connection with the community and reaffirm the company’s commitment to supporting children and communities facing significant challenges.

Receiving gifts directly from the benefactors, the children and their parents were surprised and moved, while their eyes shone with joy. The gifts seemed to ease the bitter cold of these majestic high mountains.

More than 60% of households in the communes remain classified as poor. School facilities, accommodation and learning equipment for the children are still severely limited. When daily meals remain a concern, celebrating a full and joyful Lunar New Year is still a distant hope for many families. The gifts delivered through this programme were practical and meaningful, providing added encouragement to families and students alike.

We hoped that this small contribution would help ease the burden on the children’s families and schools, especially as the Lunar New Year approached.
